About the role

• Technical Consultant role at Objective focusing on configuring ECM solutions to meet client needs in Perth or Sydney. Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned technical tasks on time and within estimate across implementations, upgrades, migrations and integrations.
• Install, configure, test, certify and upgrade Objective software in customer environments, following agreed configuration and standards across platforms and databases.
• Partner with the project team to define migration needs. Develop and test migration scripts and processes.
• Execute production migrations to ensure data is migrated accurately and completely.
• Configure and test API and web services integrations with third-party applications in line with design specifications.
• Develop and unit test customisations using the Objective SDK (where appropriate) to meet agreed specifications and support overall solution needs.
• Support end-to-end solution testing. Provide hands-on assistance through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go Live.
• Deliver onsite consulting services as needed to support customers with ongoing solution maintenance, including problem resolution, health checks, tuning and customisation.
• Apply the Objective Methodology consistently and professionally across all project work.
• Help improve “the way we work at Objective Corporation” by contributing to best practice, methodology improvements, Communities of Practice, the Body of Knowledge, and reusable software components.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience implementing technical solutions in customer or enterprise environments.
• Exposure to one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or .NET.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience administering Microsoft operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10). Exposure to Unix (e.g., Solaris) is beneficial.
• A strong customer focus and confident communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
