About the role

  • Analyste normatif en déontologie au sein de l'OACIQ, responsable de l'application des lois de courtage immobilier au Québec. Rédige lignes directrices et offre soutien technique en conformité réglementaire.

Responsibilities

  • Draft guidelines, bulletins, and advisories intended for stakeholders (brokers, agencies, partners).
  • Contribute to the development, review and harmonization of policies, procedures and ethical interpretation guides.
  • Provide technical support to internal directorates on the application of laws, regulations and other legal instruments.
  • Participate in the analysis of oversight tools, data and guidance to assess their impact on practices and recommend necessary adjustments in ethical standards.
  • Contribute to regulatory and legislative monitoring related to ethics, real estate brokerage and public protection.
  • Assist in preparing analyses and briefing notes for management, in particular on the performance and evolution of ethical standards.
  • Participate in planning and evaluating compliance control mechanisms for the Vice‑President’s teams.
  • Help design and deliver training and information sessions for the professionals concerned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, regulatory affairs, criminology, economics, risk management or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Quebec real estate brokerage laws and regulations.
  • Strong command of best practices in disciplinary compliance and professional regulation.
  • Proven ability to draft regulatory and normative texts.
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with data handling and analysis.
  • Superior written and spoken French (impeccable grammar and spelling).
  • Working knowledge of English, spoken and written.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in regulatory analysis, standards development or compliance, preferably in real estate brokerage or a related sector (financial, legal, insurance).
