About the role
- Software QA Engineer testing networking virtualization features for NVIDIA. Engaging in SW feature testing and developing tests with Python automation.
Responsibilities
- Review the architecture design and requirements for new features introduced by virtualization R&D and the software team.
- Design, develop, and implement tests for the new features, as part of software GA releases or update releases
- Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugging to understand the root cause, verify bug fixes provided by the R&D team, and raise if not fixed
- Implement tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, and security, and report the progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity
- Write automation code to increase efficiency, flexibility, and scalability in Python.
Requirements
- Practical / BA / BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 2 years of proven experience as a Software QA Engineer
- Knowledge of Networking and system administration experience
- Hands-on experience with Linux
- Independent, responsible worker, able to plan and complete
