About the role
- Firmware System Engineer developing and validating firmware for NVIDIA network products. Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure software compatibility and safety for customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify, diagnose, and addressing high-value problems during the product onboarding process
- Verify that all integrated components interact as intended
- This includes functional testing to ensure software components work correctly on various hardware testing platforms
- Validate firmware features for production at hardware power-on stage
- Bridge between software, production and customer engineering teams
Requirements
- BS.c in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of overall experience
- Strong system-level understanding and hands-on lab experience
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills, including written and verbal communication in English
- Knowledge in SW-HW interfaces, PCIe, memory subsystems, storage components, network applications, device drivers and real-time software
- Programming knowledge in Python/C/C++
- Deep understanding of computing architectures, hardware systems block diagrams and schematic sheets understanding
- Previous roles include networking technical lead, system validation, or customer application engineer positions.
