About the role

  • QA Automation Engineer ensuring quality and reliability in payment processing solutions at Nuvei. Focus on automation and QA methodologies for efficient delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

  • Define, write, maintain & perform manual & automated tests of multiple APIs, UIs & Web services for functionality, correctness and reliability
  • Maintain, expand and create automation solutions
  • Create, maintain and execute test, bug, story & other sprint board items in Azure DevOps
  • Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements to devise Test cases/Test scenarios that fully meet the testing scope to satisfy business/user/system requirements.
  • Ensure prerequisites for testing are fully prepared, including test data and test environment setup/configurations. Identify and log bugs during the Software Development life cycle till release to Production.
  • Perform root cause analysis of the bugs and collaborate with the development team to resolve and test them.
  • Work closely with the Support team to investigate and test customer and/or production issues.
  • Work with your lead on improving QA processes and practices and adhering to them to ensure that quality assurance standards are met.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in QA web-testing and automation
  • 2 years of experience in Manual Testing - Mandatory
  • Proven ability in design, creation & execution of both manual & automated test cases
  • Proficient in testing Web-based applications on both Client & Server side (HTML/JS/CSS,
  • Experienced in at least one web testing framework (like Playwrite, Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
  • Experience with an integrated agile management tool, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Test management tools.
  • Action-oriented individual who can deal with multiple priorities and complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work in a team and to perform your duties with limited supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively interact with the team.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science or a similar subject is a plus.
