Responsibilities

  • Develop strong customer relationships
  • Provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone
  • Perform general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, banking, receipting, and dispatching of goods
  • Assist customers with pricing and product queries and processing counter sales
  • Maintain safety processes
  • Assist with merchandise campaign material
  • Maintain a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environment
  • Load and unload trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment
  • Passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise
  • Experience working within a sales environment
  • Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
  • Proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Current driver’s license is essential
  • Forklift licence desirable, but not essential
