About the role

  • Business development representative for one of Quebec's largest equipment rental and sales networks. Responsible for customer acquisition and relationship management in Trois-Rivières.

Responsibilities

  • Solicit and develop customer accounts
  • Provide after-sales service and follow-up with customers
  • Promote the company’s products and services
  • Prospect for new clients
  • Establish strong business relationships
  • Be attentive and alert to new opportunities
  • Negotiate agreements with clients
  • Prepare quotes and sales contracts
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues
  • Submit weekly reports on follow-ups with prospective clients
  • Maintain business relationships with existing customers to develop strong collaboration
  • Represent the company at networking and business events

Requirements

  • Experience in business development, sales, or field representation
  • Good knowledge of the equipment rental sector and/or the construction market
  • Familiarity with the Trois-Rivières/Mauricie/Centre-du-Québec area (an asset)
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and high energy
