Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting and engaging production associates, ensuring that daily production goals and quality standards are met and maintained
Inventory control management
Directing work of others
Assisting with performance management
Rewarding, coaching and developing associates
Addressing complaints and resolving problems
Ensure the production process and inspections meet the highest quality standards
Support daily production operations by prioritizing, scheduling, and directing the work of assigned associates
Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, performance, quality of product
Communicate and maintain close contact with Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors, Leads and associates
Review and schedule daily labor requirements with Operations Manager
Prepare, analyze and submit data/reports to other departments
Develop, empower and lead a strong, cohesive team
Facilitate training and development opportunities for associates
Serve as a resource for production associates
Requirements
Work 2nd shift schedule Monday - Thursday from 3:00pm - 1:30am
Strong manufacturing background
Previous leadership experience
Ability to prioritize workload and manage more than one task at a time
Ability to read and interpret reports, work instructions and blueprints
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to develop, empower and lead a team
Ability to collaborate and function as a member of a team
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Ability and means to travel as needed, proof of valid driver’s license, liability and property damage insurance on personal vehicle used is required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
