About the role

  • Financial Analyst supporting finance functions at Nucor, focusing on financial analysis and reporting. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights and support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and present financial data to division leadership team
  • Supporting accurate month-end close and general ledger reconciliation
  • Identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide cost analysis and divisional comparisons
  • Working with other departments to gather/analyze division financial data

Requirements

  • Four (4) year degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) preferred
  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • Two (2) years’ Financial Analyst experience preferred
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365, Power BI)
  • Desire to advance into a leadership role
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
