About the role
- Contribute to national and regional cross-functional teams to execute the affiliate’s Legal, Ethics & Compliance (LEC) strategy
- Serve as the key account manager and subject matter expert on LEC matters for the cardiometabolic business
- Represent LEC in cardiometabolic LAP reviews and provide review and sign-off on BU, public affairs, and medical strategies and plans
- Offer proactive and holistic legal and compliance advice to safeguard patient interests and support sustainable business growth
- Ensure effective intellectual property (IP) protection, including managing patent and trademark portfolios
- Drive innovation and challenge the status quo in support of business goals and ethical compliance
- Conduct focused LEC training sessions for the affiliate’s cardiometabolic business unit
Requirements
- Law degree (qualified lawyer)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Legal and Compliance roles within the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework governing the pharmaceutical sector
- Proven experience leading functions or driving organizational change at local, regional, or global level
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders across functions, including policy-makers, regulators, and media
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
