About the role
- Data Engineer developing new data-centric products as part of Novaspace's digital and data team in the space sector. Supporting digital activities and data strategy in an innovative consulting group.
Responsibilities
- Creating new databases related to the space sector. Rethinking the architecture, the data collection and update. This requires data parsing, NLP etc.
- Developing new algorithms to automate and optimize internal processes related to data acquisition and update.
- Developing and supporting data projects to be integrated into Novaspace’s online platform.
- Data wrangling and manipulation and dashboard creation
- Support machine learning projects (LLMs, CV etc.)
Requirements
- A master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Entry level experience
- Strong organizational skills and knowledge of programming (python, SQL, VBA, MS Access and other DBMS)
- Languages: fluency in English is mandatory (spoken and written). Knowledge of French and additional languages is a plus
- Experience with Git/Github for code collaboration
