About the role
- Global Supply Chain Project Management Specialist overseeing operational aspects of projects in the GSC organization. Supporting sustainment IPT and managing liaison roles between teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the sustainment IPT and Sub IPTs as a focal point for the GSC organization
- Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects
- Serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Review status of projects and budgets
- Manage schedules and prepare status reports
- Assess project issues developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
- Ensure consistency in GSC processes and drafts work instructions and work flows
- Act as a GSC focal with various program IPTs and Sub IPTs
- Analyze data and information to accurately build/present program-level leadership briefings
Requirements
- Must have Bachelor's with 2 years, Master's Degree, or High School diploma/equivalent with 6 years' experience in Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Program Special Access
- Must have Bachelor's with 5 years, Master's with 3 years or High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years' experience in the following: Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field
- Experience using SAP, ERP, MRP or other related business software application
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and Program Special Access.
