About the role
- Consultant specializing in Oracle Retail leading functional fronts in strategic retail projects. Responsible for implementation, evolution, and support of Oracle Retail ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, rollout, or evolution of Oracle Retail solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and the defined architecture.
- Conduct requirements gathering, AS-IS/TO-BE process analysis, and functional design.
- Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, mappings, and business process flows.
- Configure Oracle Retail modules according to client requirements, ensuring quality and traceability.
- Support integrated testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, go-live activities, and stabilization.
- Serve as a specialist in one or more modules, for example: Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), Oracle Retail Pricing/Promotions, Oracle Retail Inventory Management (SIM), and others.
Requirements
- Solid experience (typically 5+ years) with Oracle Retail in the retail sector.
- Proven track record in implementation and support projects, with end-to-end involvement.
- Strong knowledge of retail processes: purchasing/procurement, pricing, inventory, tax/compliance, sales, replenishment, logistics, and POS.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional Oracle Retail solutions.
- Experience with functional documentation, testing, and go-live support.
- Good communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced English for working with documentation and global teams.
