Test Engineer working on LTE and 5G solutions within Nokia Defense. Analyzing features, designing test cases, and ensuring product quality in telecommunications.
Responsibilities
Analyze features with respect to end-to-end purpose and functionality
Design test cases and test scenarios based on requirements specifications
Integrate and verify features in a customer-close, end-to-end test lab with real equipment environment
Automate test cases for regression tests to ensure high product quality
Trouble-shoot SW bugs by proper pre-analysis of the faults, deliver traces and log files and verifying the fixes delivered by development
Cooperate closely with Architecture and Development teams
Requirements
Knowledge of telecom protocols, IP and networking
Python and bash knowledge
Other tools: Linux user, GIT
Teamwork skills
Analytical thinking
Good communication skills in English - both verbal and written
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject
Readiness to work in a hybrid mode (Nokia Kraków office)
Knowledge of 4G/5G standard
Experience with IP and telecom networks software and hardware troubleshooting
