About the role

  • Manufacturing Test Development Engineer designing manufacturing test solutions for Fixed Networks portfolio. Collaborating with engineers to define test strategies and maintaining solutions for global production.

Responsibilities

  • Work together with HW development engineers to define test strategies for Fixed Networks Products
  • Design & develop fully or partially automated functional test, system test and traffic test solutions. Those solutions are used in manufacturing sites spread over the world to validate every single unit that is produced for our company
  • Provide guidance and support to manufacturing suppliers to introduce, use and maintain those test solutions
  • Use data analysis techniques to extract possibilities for improvement in test, product, or suppliers, and work them out with the designated teams
  • Work with customer teams to automate product configuration according to customer's requirements in factories and warehouse.

Requirements

  • Educational background in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity in Electronics Hardware Design (PCB) and/or Hardware Testing.
  • Strong programming experience (Python).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
  • It would be nice if you also had:
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with experience in languages like TestStand, TCL, C/C++, and an understanding of LLM techniques.
  • Familiarity with test instruments, instrument controls, and optical communication network standards (e.g., PON/AP), including related testing experience.
  • Experience with Linux systems and programming within that environment.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles, including GPON technologies, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi RF, antennas hardware design, test and certification.
  • Demonstrated working enthusiasm, teamwork spirit, and experience with large-scale projects
