About the role
- Finance and Risk Analyst responsible for evaluating credit risks and products in energy projects. Joining Commercial Finance and Risk team to enhance processes and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Independent review of our products and the processes and risks behind them
- Analysis of existing and new products
- Assessment of economic viability and credit risk
- Continuous improvement of our processes
- Risk assessment and calculation of required collateral for new and ongoing contracts
- Monitoring of the customer portfolio
- Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and recurring reports for management
- Advising business units on existing and new products and projects
- Assessment of the credit risk of our products for new and existing customers
- Monitoring of required collateral with power exchanges and transmission system operators.
Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, engineering, or a natural sciences discipline
- Solid, several years of professional experience in the field of credit risk
- Responsibility for complex projects
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Strong numerical aptitude and excellent analytical skills
- Experience with statistical methods and key metrics
- Confident user of MS Office products
- Preferably programming skills in Python or similar languages
- Independent, results-oriented working style and enjoyment of responsibility.
