About the role

  • Lead internal and client-facing projects with autonomy, particularly with banks and payment institutions
  • Oversee and coordinate activities with external suppliers, including reviewing and validating technical deliverables
  • Analyze and, when needed, review Java code (especially based on Spring and microservices architectures) delivered by third parties
  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams for capacity planning, effort estimation, and project/change execution
  • Contribute to DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Artifactory
  • Support testing activities (unit, integration, performance) and contribute to quality assurance processes
  • Represent and document complex system architectures using standard tools (e.g., Visio, Dia)
  • Support configuration and testing phases managed by internal teams or clients
  • Monitor and update project tasks through Clarity or other project management tools
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and provide effort estimates for new initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong SysAdmin-level knowledge of Linux OS (shell, file system, users/permissions, services)
  • Good knowledge of Java, with the ability to review and analyze code
  • Experience with the Spring framework and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices: Jenkins, Maven, Git, Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of middleware platforms (WildFly, JBoss, Tomcat, HAProxy, Apache, Splunk, ELK, etc.)
  • Understanding of software testing principles (unit, integration, performance testing with tools like JMeter, SOAPUI, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of networking and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory)
  • Experience in documenting and representing complex architectures
  • Exposure to both traditional (2–3 tier) and modern containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes)
