About the role

  • Senior Embedded Software Developer at leading design house for safety-critical electronic systems in various industries. Involves project leadership and software development for innovative safety products.

Responsibilities

  • You work on new developments and enhancements of embedded software across various industries.
  • You lead small to large project teams on exciting topics and, together with your colleagues, develop state-of-the-art software for safety-critical systems such as a blood glucose meter (Medical), a drive-by-wire control unit (Automotive), an exoskeleton (Industrial), and much more.
  • You apply your existing know-how where it matters, e.g., in requirements engineering, the creation of software architectures & designs, and programming (including C/C++), or as an integrator of software modules and in software testing according to the V-model.
  • You communicate directly with customers on a technical level to develop innovative products in collaboration with our clients.

Requirements

  • Ideally you have a completed technical or scientific degree (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Medical Technology, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, Biology) or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have several years of professional experience in embedded programming and model-based software development (UML, C/C++).
  • You have practical experience in creating software architectures and in data communication.
  • Ideally you also have experience working in process-driven projects.
  • Teamwork, strong communication skills, and initiative are among your key traits.
  • Your profile is rounded off by very good German and English language skills.
