About the role
- Senior Consultant leading OT-Security and Cyber Security projects at NewTec. Involvement in medical technology, industry, and automotive with a focus on safety and security.
Responsibilities
- You independently lead consulting projects across our various industries, such as medical technology, industrial manufacturing and automotive — from analysis and process consulting to concept reviews and audits/assessments.
- You conduct threat analyses and risk assessments and advance security testing activities.
- You plan, monitor and review cybersecurity in our projects.
- You work conceptually and take primary responsibility for security-relevant work products (e.g., Security Management Plan, Cybersecurity Context Definition, Cybersecurity Requirements Specification).
- You deepen customer relationships, identify opportunities and strengthen client retention.
- You contribute to proposal preparation and effort estimation for consulting projects.
- You expand your security expertise through our training programs and exciting security projects.
Requirements
- You have a completed technical or scientific degree (e.g., Enterprise/IT Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics) or an equivalent qualification.
- You have comprehensive knowledge of signature and encryption technologies (e.g., ECDH, AES).
- You have already gained experience in requirements engineering.
- You possess good know‑how in system architecture and design.
- You have already gained initial experience with cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISA/IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 21434, IEC 270xx, IEC 81001-5-1).
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English complete your profile.
