About the role

  • BCBA developing personalized treatment plans and training RBTs at Neurobehavioral Center for Growth. Collaborating with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive client care.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and Updating Treatment Plans
  • Create individualized skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols tailored to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
  • Regularly review and revise plans based on data, progress, and team input.
  • Training and Supporting RBTs
  • Provide hands-on training and ongoing supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring they are confident and competent in implementing treatment protocols with fidelity and compassion.
  • Caregiver Collaboration and Coaching
  • Deliver personalized caregiver training sessions to empower families with tools and strategies that support progress beyond the therapy setting.
  • Foster strong, trusting relationships with caregivers.
  • Staff Development and Evaluation
  • Conduct competency assessments and performance reviews for new and existing RBTs, offering constructive feedback and mentorship to promote professional growth and high-quality service delivery.
  • Efficient Scheduling and Client Engagement
  • Design and maintain a time-effective schedule that allows for consistent weekly contact with each client and their assigned RBT, ensuring continuity of care and timely support.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Complete clear, objective session notes after each visit and write comprehensive monthly progress reports that reflect client growth, challenges, and next steps.
  • Mentorship and Leadership
  • After one year at NBCG, serve as a mentor to new BCBAs, sharing your expertise and helping to foster a collaborative, supportive clinical culture.
  • Professional Communication and Teamwork
  • Maintain punctual, respectful, and responsive communication with clients, families, and team members.
  • Actively contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Upholding Ethical and Inclusive Practices
  • Represent NBCG with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

  • A degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or Psychology
  • A BCBA®, BCaBA® or BCBA-D® credential in good-standing
  • Meets the BACB® supervision standards (NBCG offers supervision if needed)
  • A passion for assent-based, person-centered care.
