About the role

  • Junior Innovation Analyst at Afya supporting corporate innovation initiatives and managing projects with a focus on impact. Engaging internal culture through workshops, events, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop innovation projects with a strong results orientation, supporting planning through implementation and impact evaluation;
  • Prepare technical reports and executive materials to monitor projects, providing qualified analyses and clear communication of results and learnings;
  • Develop and monitor processes, indicators and controls related to the project portfolio, ensuring governance, traceability and performance;
  • Actively support Open Innovation activities, connecting Afya with universities, hubs, accelerators and ecosystem partners, contributing to the design and execution of collaborative programs;
  • Participate in internal meetings, technical visits and innovation events, acting as the area representative in interactions with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Lead or support internal engagement initiatives and promote an innovation culture, such as ideathons, hackathons, ideation workshops and learning tracks, encouraging employee ownership and structured experimentation;
  • Support project management using agile tools such as Microsoft Planner, organizing tasks, deadlines and owners and facilitating cross-functional collaboration;
  • Collect, analyze and consolidate strategic data to support KPI monitoring and the development of dashboards that provide visibility into the progress of projects and initiatives;
  • Contribute to Afya’s trends radar by conducting research, benchmarks and market analyses to anticipate innovations applicable to healthcare and education contexts;
  • Maintain commitment to compliance and best practices, acting in accordance with the organization’s ethical, regulatory and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed;
  • Experience in corporate innovation areas and/or other innovation players (consultancies, accelerators, etc.);
  • Innovation project management: knowledge of agile and traditional methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK), with a focus on planning, execution and delivery tracking;
  • Management tools: proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Planner, Trello, Jira, Notion or similar for project, task and schedule control;
  • Data and KPI analysis: ability to collect, process and analyze project performance data; advanced Excel skills, Power BI or other data visualization tools;
  • Open Innovation and innovation ecosystem: understanding of open innovation and experience interacting with startups, universities, hubs, accelerators and investment funds;
  • Reporting and executive materials: skill in preparing technical reports, progress presentations and documents tailored to different audiences (technical, managerial and executive);
  • Innovation culture and methods: familiarity with design thinking, design sprint, lean startup and ideation and co-creation tools;
  • Communication and facilitation: ability to run workshops, support innovation events and facilitate interactions between technical and business teams.
