Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of NETGEAR’s cloud platform into a modern, automation-first, high-performance engineering ecosystem
- Build and evolve a unified cloud platform serving Consumer and Enterprise divisions
- Eliminate manual infrastructure and deployment processes
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) across environments
- Enable engineers to self-serve infrastructure, deployments, and production monitoring
- Standardize CI/CD pipelines and release practices
- Establish and scale a strong SRE culture across engineering
- Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets across shared services
- Drive disciplined incident response and permanent root-cause elimination
- Champion adoption of AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Cloud Code, emerging AI assistants)
- Define architectural standards and guardrails.
Requirements
- 12+ years of engineering experience with significant cloud leadership responsibility
- Proven track record transforming engineering teams into high-performing organizations
- Experience operating and scaling cloud platforms (AWS highly advantageous)
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Strong SRE and reliability engineering background
- Demonstrated experience improving DORA metrics in production environments
- Experience implementing and rolling out enterprise observability platforms (e.g., Datadog)
- Experience leading AI tooling adoption across engineering teams
- Experience operating revenue-critical systems at scale
- Excellent stakeholder management across Product, Engineering, Security, and Finance.
