About the role
- Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing cloud-based solutions and implementing managed Cloud Services. Collaborating on solving complex problems with the Software Engineering team in Bangalore.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions.
- Focus on solving complex problems, developing, testing, automating and collaborating.
- Responsible for designing and implementing managed Cloud Services based on given requirements.
- Continuously monitor, analyze, and measure system health, availability, and latency.
Requirements
- Lead to deliver features, including participating in the full software development lifecycle.
- Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery.
- Excellent Problem solver, proficient coder and a designer.
- Thorough understanding and extensive experience with Block/File technologies.
- Proficient with any of the languages C, C++, Python or Golang.
- Strong in Data Structure and algorithms.
- Expertise in REST API design and implementation.
- Prior experience with Filesystem development and Distributed system design is desirable.
- Understanding of Container based technologies preferably Kubernetes & Dockers.
- Knowledge of infrastructure like hypervisor, Cloud Storage is added advantage.
- Mentor junior members, participate in interviews, and contribute to building high-performance teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Engage in incident management processes including on-call rotations to resolve production issues within agreed SLAs/SLOs.
