About the role

• Account Analyst managing internal and external audits at Nemak. Responsible for compliance and precision in financial information and SAP entries.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for supporting internal and external audits;
• Prepare manual journal entries in SAP;
• Perform reconciliations of accounting balances;
• Prepare statutory filings (ECD and ECF);
• Serve as the focal point for internal and external accounting support, ensuring compliance and accuracy of financial information;
• Prepare documentation and provide support for internal and external audits;
• Prepare manual accounting entries in SAP, ensuring compliance and accuracy;
• Perform periodic account reconciliations using corporate tools;
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, including ECD and ECF, within legal deadlines;
• Act as the primary contact for resolving internal and external accounting queries;
• Ensure correct classification and recording of accounting transactions;
• Monitor and ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies;
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes;
• Analyze and validate financial information for management and tax reporting;
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and systems used.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis);
• Advanced Excel;
• Experience with SAP (FI and CO modules);
• Experience with external audit is a plus;
• English language skills are a plus.
