About the role

  • Design and implement the Company Software Defined Network product while providing operational support and expert-level technical advice. Collaborate across teams for effective solution delivery in a 24x7 operations environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for design, implementation, operational support of Company Software Defined Network product
  • Provides expert-level technical advice and support for real time analysis, design, testing, and operations of software defined networks
  • Tests and turns up new uCPE and Wireless Backup circuits in a production environment
  • Collaborates with customer, Development and Strategic Engineering, and SDN Service platform vendor during in-depth troubleshooting
  • Opens and updates service tickets in database/tracking system

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience with Internet Protocol (IP) routing and switching fundamentals
  • Knowledge of Network Function Virtualization (VNF) concepts and strategies
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
