About the role

  • Produces marketing content for corporate communication strategies and online offerings. Involves solving technical problems and assisting with projects in a digital media environment.

Responsibilities

  • To produce marketing content in a digital media environment in support of corporate communication strategies and enhance online offerings
  • May be assigned to small projects or to phase(s) of larger project(s); assists with system-wide projects
  • Responsible for solving moderately complex technical problems and recommends appropriate actions
  • Troubleshoots day-to-day problems and recommends solutions
  • Perform moderately complex/varied tasks with limited latitude and moderate impact

Requirements

  • Exposure to designing and maintaining a corporate Website
  • Familiarity with marketing communication principles in designing Web Pages
  • Familiarity with PC and Internet/Web-based technologies such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and PHP
  • Ability to create interactive media that adheres to overall user-experience goals
  • Ability to act independently while exercising initiative and judgment and to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to train, guide, and mentor others
  • Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to think conceptually and visualize strategic decisions
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback, and push designs to next level
  • Exposure to working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects
  • Basic skill in creating interaction designs that have strong application to our members through visual design and interaction behavior using HTML, scripting languages and related software applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective research, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, computer science/information systems, visual communications, interactive media involving design or development of computer programs/applications or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
