About the role

  • Consultant for Finance & Accounting software implementation, focusing on customer solutions and ERP systems. Collaboration with various teams and leading workshops, offering flexible work in hybrid model.

Responsibilities

  • You will play a central role in advising and supporting our clients in the implementation and optimization of our software solutions in the area of Finance & Accounting.
  • Independently analyze client requirements and develop technically sound, practical solution concepts.
  • Advise our clients on finance and accounting processes and provide expert support on complex issues such as fixed asset accounting, cost accounting, or IFRS/US-GAAP.
  • Plan, conduct and moderate workshops and provide training for key users.
  • Prepare specifications, solution descriptions and process recommendations.
  • Provide subject-matter leadership for relevant project work packages and closely coordinate with project management, business units and our development team.
  • Configure the ERP system in a process-oriented manner, including quality assurance of the implementation.
  • Identify optimization and further development needs for our clients — both during implementation and in ongoing operations.

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in the finance & accounting field or in financial accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Solid accounting and business administration knowledge (e.g., university degree, commercial school (HAK), WIFI training or comparable qualification).
  • Very good knowledge in the use of and ideally implementation of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, SAP, BMD or similar).
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex financial relationships and translate them into structured solution approaches.
  • Experience conducting workshops and training sessions and ideally supporting software implementations.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills, and the ability to bridge functional and technical requirements between clients and IT.
  • High customer orientation, self-responsibility and enthusiasm for digital financial processes and the IT industry.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and confident English language skills.
