About the role

• Senior Lawyer specializing in Tax Consulting, working three days remotely. Collaborating on complex tax-related legal matters for third sector organizations.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of various contracts (service agreements, engineering, agribusiness) regarding tax obligations and their impact on the client, especially in light of the tax reform;
• Tax advisory for the third sector (nonprofit organizations);
• Advisory on issuance of tax documents and withholding at source (IRRF, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and social security contributions – in cases of labor provision);
• Analysis of taxation on remittances abroad;
• Recognition of tax immunity in administrative proceedings;
• Review of tax clauses in service contracts in general, engineering services, cultural production services, licensing of artistic rights, and software licensing;
• Analysis of withholding at source for procured services, especially regarding ISS and social security contributions in cases of labor provision;
• Tax opinions on various operations;
• Tax consultations regarding issuance of tax documents and acceptance of tax documents issued by suppliers; income tax/capital gains, ITBI, ITCMD, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years since graduation;
• Specialization in Tax Law is required and knowledge of the Tax Reform;
• Proven experience in tax advisory, including drafting legal opinions and consultations;
• Accounting knowledge is a plus.
