About the role

Responsibilities
- Support our Head of Group Tax at the group level
- Serve as the primary contact for the accounting team on tax-related questions
- Contribute to tax-related group and financial reporting under IFRS and HGB
- Determine tax positions in the annual financial statements
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of tax returns, partly involving external advisors
- Support international tax matters
- Assist with tax projects, e.g. tax audits domestically and abroad, Tax Compliance Management System, etc.
- Implement and optimize tax processes
Requirements
- Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte/r) or a university degree with a focus on taxation
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable position or in a tax firm
- Good MS Office skills and enthusiasm for working with IT tools
- Proficient in relevant accounting/reporting systems (Datev, LucaNet)
- IFRS knowledge is an advantage
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in an international environment
- Independent, responsible and structured working style

- Very good German and English skills
