Responsibilities
Apply knowledge of legislation, case law, and Inland Revenue rulings in tax-related work.
Demonstrate familiarity with tax lodgement programmes and payment requirements.
Understand financial statements and their relevance to the tax function.
Use compliance procedures to identify tax planning issues effectively.
Continuously adapt and learn to address knowledge gaps and keep up with business and economic environments.
Deliver quality client service, assist with problem-solving, and identify value-added opportunities while maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
Are working towards a Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Law, or another relevant discipline, with a preference for those whose studies align to Chartered Accountancy or Law Professional Studies pathways (preferred but not essential).
