About the role

  • Senior Tax Analyst engaging in a wide range of tax work within a large, established organization. Contributing to continuous improvement and modernization of tax processes.

Responsibilities

  • research, reporting, and compliance while supporting strategic initiatives across the organization
  • Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns and related filings
  • Analyze tax accounts and reconcile to the general ledger
  • Resolve tax issues and controversies through applied and directed research
  • Support quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements
  • Assess the business impact of tax law updates and implement appropriate process changes
  • Respond to tax authority inquiries and support audits
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, documentation, and internal controls
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, and external advisors
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6–8 years of corporate tax or public accounting (tax) experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state income tax regulations
  • Experience preparing complex tax returns and supporting schedules
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • CPA or Master of Business Taxation
  • Experience supporting SEC or public company reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and tax software
