About the role
- Finance Operations Specialist managing day-to-day finance activities including AP/AR and reconciliations at iCliGo, an innovative travel consultancy platform.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance activities, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, payments, and cash flow
- Ensure accurate transaction recording, compliance with internal controls, and support system improvements (ERP, reporting, automation)
- Execute and monitor recurring finance operations
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, controls, and deadlines
- Identify inefficiencies and propose improvements to finance processes
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems (ERP, reporting, automation tools)
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and external auditors when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations, Accounting Operations, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, AP/AR processes, and cash management
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Sage, Primavera, Dynamics)
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, Power Query)
- Knowledge of tax and compliance requirements (nice to have)
- High attention to detail and accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong ownership mindset and sense of accountability
- Continuous improvement and efficiency-driven mindset
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
