About the role

Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing monthly P&Ls, ensuring timely and accurate period-end close
- Producing financial reports for business cases, capital investment and change initiatives
- Leading budgeting, reforecasting and annual planning cycles
- Delivering end-of-year and monthly performance reporting for senior stakeholders
- Proactively identifying profit improvement opportunities in partnership with the Business Director and wider leadership team
- Maintaining strong financial controls and governance
- Supporting operational teams across multiple sites, including site visits, audits and trading reviews
Requirements
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant status (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally within services, logistics, industrial or waste environments
- Advanced Excel and Power BI capability
- Experience partnering with operational and commercial teams across multiple locations
- A proactive, resilient and collaborative approach, with the confidence to challenge and influence
