About the role

  • Team coordinator and intake specialist in Customer Asset Management at M&T Bank. Overseeing case distribution and resolving customer correspondence with a strong focus on service and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the distribution of cases through the team on a rotating basis
  • Assisting with administrative functions for the team
  • Researching and resolving customer correspondence
  • Performing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual case reporting and audits
  • Evaluating systems and documenting functional processes
  • Investigating and resolving customer correspondences received directly or through a regulatory agency
  • Maintaining accurate documentation on departmental database and electronic files
  • Providing feedback to management regarding results

Requirements

  • A combined 4 years higher education and/or work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience
  • Proficient with personal computers and pertinent software including word processing, spreadsheet and email software
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
