About the role
- Billing Manager overseeing the EMEA billing function at MRI Software. Responsible for billing accuracy, team management, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the Billing team to ensure high performance, engagement, and accountability.
- Track, measure, and report on team KPIs; use data to identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
- Own end-to-end billing operations, ensuring invoices and credit memos are accurate, timely, and aligned to executed agreements.
- Support month-end close by meeting all billing and reporting deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing workflows and improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee billing inquiry and ticket processing to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex billing issues, both internal and client related.
- Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Sales, Revenue Operations, and FP&A.
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years’ experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related financial operations.
- SaaS billing experience strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, NetSuite, and billing/ERP systems.
