About the role

  • New Business Account Executive focused on the Social Housing sector selling software solutions. A hybrid role based in London or Sleaford to build client relationships and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Represent MRI professionally and build strong relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Achieve quarterly and annual new business sales targets
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline to support revenue goals
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across local authorities and housing associations
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate commercial terms
  • Respond to tenders, RFIs, RFPs and ITTs
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering to produce proposals and quotations
  • Manage opportunities end-to-end, from initial enquiry through to close
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasts and sales activity in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, Development and Implementation teams

Requirements

  • Proven success in a target-driven, new business sales environment
  • Experience selling software solutions
  • Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to qualify opportunities
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging at C-suite level
  • Organised, self-sufficient and able to manage complex, long sales cycles
  • Team-oriented, with a proactive and independent working style
  • Knowledge of the Social Housing or Public Sector is desirable but not essential
