Responsibilities
You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
You ensure product availability and that the numbers in your area of responsibility are correct
Together with your team, you create attractive product displays
You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate, develop and inspire your employees
Requirements
Completed vocational training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector or as a butcher
Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in butchery or further qualification as a meat or cheese sommelier
Preferably some initial leadership experience at service counters
Excellent knowledge of sausage/cold-cut, meat, cheese and fish products
A sociable, responsible team-player personality
