Responsibilities
You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your assigned HIT store
You ensure product availability and that inventory and performance figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
Together with your team, you present products attractively
You advise and serve customers individually, personally, knowledgeably and warmly
You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in the self-service area
Through careful staff scheduling, you motivate, develop and inspire your team
Requirements
Completed vocational training as a retail specialist in the fresh department (Fachverkäufer im Frischebereich) or as a butcher/meatcutter
Ideally a master craftsman’s certificate in the butchery trade (Meister) or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
Preferably initial leadership experience in service counter operations
Excellent knowledge of sausages, meats, cheeses and fish products
A sociable, responsible team-player personality
