About the role

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh food and service counters in your HIT market
  • You ensure that product availability and the numbers in your area of responsibility are correct
  • Together with your team, you present products attractively
  • You advise and serve customers individually, personally, expertly and warmly
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the corresponding refrigerated shelves and freezers in self-service
  • You demonstrate careful staff scheduling and have the ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist salesperson in the fresh food sector or as a butcher
  • Ideally, a master craftsman certificate in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
  • Very good knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese and fish products
  • A personable, responsible team-player personality
