Junior Project Manager supporting Employee Experience projects across the DACH region at Mercer. Managing timelines, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities
Support /lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Employee Experience projects for leading organizations across industries.
Manage timelines, track progress, and help ensure high-quality project execution from survey setup to results delivery.
Coordinate many stakeholders parallel: consultants, client teams, and technical experts to keep projects running smoothly.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Contribute to standardising processes aimed at maximising utilisation and risk reduction on project delivery.
Clearly articulate requirements needed for delivery, share the importance of project deadlines.
Support the planning and execution of our client projects either as stand-alone projects or part of wider programmes from inception to completion.
An ability to define, maintain and report on project metrics including scope, risk and project plans for both internal and client stakeholders.
Manage multiple projects in parallel.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.
Requirements
A university degree (e.g., in Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields).
Around 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in HR consulting, research, project coordination, or a client-facing environment.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Clear and confident communication.
Motivation to learn about Employee Experience and grow within an international consulting environment.
Proficiency with using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable with AI developments.
Experience with digital survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics) is a plus, but not a requirement — we’ll teach you what you need to know.
Fluency in both German and English is essential.
