About the role

  • Junior Project Manager supporting Employee Experience projects across the DACH region at Mercer. Managing timelines, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Support /lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Employee Experience projects for leading organizations across industries.
  • Manage timelines, track progress, and help ensure high-quality project execution from survey setup to results delivery.
  • Coordinate many stakeholders parallel: consultants, client teams, and technical experts to keep projects running smoothly.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Contribute to standardising processes aimed at maximising utilisation and risk reduction on project delivery.
  • Clearly articulate requirements needed for delivery, share the importance of project deadlines.
  • Support the planning and execution of our client projects either as stand-alone projects or part of wider programmes from inception to completion.
  • An ability to define, maintain and report on project metrics including scope, risk and project plans for both internal and client stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.

Requirements

  • A university degree (e.g., in Business, Psychology, Social Sciences, or related fields).
  • Around 1–3 years of professional experience, ideally in HR consulting, research, project coordination, or a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Clear and confident communication.
  • Motivation to learn about Employee Experience and grow within an international consulting environment.
  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable with AI developments.
  • Experience with digital survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics) is a plus, but not a requirement — we’ll teach you what you need to know.
  • Fluency in both German and English is essential.
