About the role

  • FP&A Specialist analyzing complex financial data to support business partners for Marsh McLennan. Engaging with various areas of the business for client relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes complex financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support business partners provide financial recommendations.
  • Reviews and conducts analysis of financial planning information and reports, and makes recommendations for changes to management.
  • Communicates with business partner on a consistent basis, to ensure alignment and a close relationship.
  • Assists in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities to understand variances to budget and prior year.
  • Evaluates financial plans by identifying financial expected performance and potential returns to investments.
  • Prepares financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models – Be effective towards communicating key financials call out points to business leaders with strong storytelling skills.
  • Assists in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.
  • Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Updates financial databases through entering, verifying, and securing data.

Requirements

  • Experience working in multinational companies
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in FP&A
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, industrial engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • A third language is an asset.
  • Strong Financial Core FP&A Skills and Corporate Finance understanding.
  • Excel proficiency.
  • Desirable knowledge in Power BI or CRM management.
