About the role

  • Employee Benefits Consultant at Mercer managing Healthcare and Protection client portfolios. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality consulting advice and service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of Healthcare and Protection clients, by providing quality consulting advice and ongoing service
  • Ensure that revenue from this portfolio is profitable and expand business lines and service delivery where appropriate
  • Manage and develop strong client relationships and win new business
  • Work pro-actively with internal teams to deliver client expectations in line with agreed client account plans

Requirements

  • Previous Healthcare or Group Risk related experience
  • Financial and Commercial acumen (including fee negotiation skills)
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Inter-personal, communication and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
