About the role

  • Associate Analyst applying economic approaches to energy and transport transition challenges. Collaborating on studies and expert opinions in a reputable global consulting firm in Germany.

Responsibilities

  • Active involvement in shaping studies, expert reports and presentations, from conception and the conduct of economic analyses to documentation and presentation of results
  • Research, quantitative investigation and analysis of company, industry and market data, including the use of statistical methods
  • Close collaboration with colleagues and clients and clear communication of complex economic issues

Requirements

  • Excellent university degree (Master or PhD) in Economics or a related discipline
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
  • High level of reliability, motivation, responsibility and ability to work in a team
  • Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, precise and solution-oriented working style, and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with unfamiliar issues
  • Initial experience in applied economic research
