About the role

  • Senior Analytics Engineer developing data pipelines and analytics capabilities for a data-driven analytics company. Collaborating with stakeholders to build trustworthy datasets for impactful decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, and maintenance of data pipelines that power GTM attribution, account health, ROI, and product usage analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce clean, structured datasets that simplify access and analysis for GTM and Product teams.
  • Augment and improve our customer data platform (CDP), ensuring data accuracy and completeness for downstream consumers.
  • Translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into data models and dashboards that support strategic business decisions.
  • Establish trust in data through testing, validation, documentation, and quality monitoring.
  • Drive medium- to long-term roadmap initiatives that reduce data science dependency and improve product metric reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt (DBT Core + Github Actions) for modern data transformation and modeling workflows.
  • Expertise in SQL, including writing efficient and complex queries for large-scale data transformation and modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python for data transformation, automation, and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with collaborative software development practices including version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development and data modeling (e.g., star/snowflake schemas).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing platforms like BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset and the ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments.
  • Comfort navigating stakeholder priorities in a high-growth startup environment.
