Responsibilities
- Strong technical knowledge and skills.
- Work on both ongoing support and the technical and strategic evolution of clients' container orchestration platforms.
- Proven experience with Rancher 2.x (Prime), RKE, RKE2 or K3s.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, YAML, ingress controllers, storage classes and CNI networking.
- Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar).
- Familiarity with container security, RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets and PodSecurity policies.
- Experience in hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem) is a strong plus.
- Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD, Flux) and multi-cluster management is desirable.
Requirements
- Experience with Rancher Fleet, Longhorn or NeuVector.
- Certifications such as CKA, CKAD and/or Rancher Prime Specialist.
- Knowledge of managed Kubernetes services such as Azure AKS, AWS EKS or GKE.
- Experience with cost monitoring, FinOps and cluster optimization.
