About the role
- (Senior-) Consultant focusing on cost and process optimization in a growing consulting firm. Working directly with clients to implement effective organizational transformations.
Responsibilities
- Cost reduction and profitability improvement at various levels (product, project, portfolio, manufacturing site, entire company)
- Optimization of the process landscape from order intake to delivery, focusing on efficiency, responsibilities, control mechanisms, and the system landscape
- Development of practical solutions: from end-to-end performance improvements to operating models, transformations, and new organizational structures
- Implementation directly at the client: working together with specialists and leaders from engineering, procurement, manufacturing and other departments
- Close collaboration and joint project steering with management (executive management, C-level, board)
- Independent project work with significant development opportunities
- Contribution to the build-up and growth of our company: technically, methodically and culturally
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in project work, ideally in the manufacturing industry or in consulting
- Master's degree in (industrial) engineering or a related discipline
- Solid knowledge of project management and experience applying methods to improve performance
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced skills in data processing and analysis are a plus
- Structured, analytical working style, combined with strong implementation ability and natural communication skills
- Willingness to travel (across Germany, occasionally international)
- Excellent German and English skills (business fluent)
