Responsibilities
Maintain and further develop governance documents
Analyze security-relevant incidents, including documentation, initiation of criminal complaints (where applicable), and derivation of security measures
Support the review and account coding of incoming invoices and assist with cost center monitoring
Translate findings from Business Impact Analyses and BCM-related risk assessments into crisis management measures in close cooperation with the central emergency manager (e.g., development of crisis plans)
Contribute to the preparation and delivery of training and continuing education in emergency and crisis management
Implement a structured approach to travel security in cooperation with the travel security service provider (risk assessments, travel advisories, recommended measures)
Participate in operational emergency response as an emergency manager and as a member of the crisis team according to internal role assignments
Update and consistently apply the physical security framework (security concept)
Develop the security situation picture for Messe Berlin and support enforcement of house rules and property rights as part of corporate security
Requirements
Degree in security management, crisis management, emergency management, or a comparable qualification — or equivalent knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience in security, emergency, and crisis management
Strong communication skills to explain complex matters clearly and appropriately to different audiences
Experience in creating and updating emergency and crisis documentation
Experience conducting trainings, exercises, or workshops in a security context
Fluent German language skills
