About the role
- Senior Information Security Specialist executing Daikin Europe’s Information Security strategy. Collaborating with leadership to ensure our systems and services remain secure and compliant with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the ISMS
- Identify, assess, and report Information Security Risks; define and prioritize mitigation strategies
- Assist in architecting Information Security at Daikin EMEA
- Coordinate and contribute to security-related projects & roadmap, including policy development, awareness campaigns, and incident response processes and practices
- Serve as the primary security liaison for specific business domains or sites, ensuring local compliance with global security policies
- Support internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness (e.g., ISO27001)
- Actively participate in the development of security governance
- Provide coaching and guidance to junior Information Security Specialists and other stakeholders on security best practices by following latest trends in Information Security
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in information security, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
