About the role
- Software Developer contributing to the development of innovative network structures for MERKUR GROUP. Involves creating user-friendly interfaces and managing security systems.
Responsibilities
- Significantly involved in the further development of our adp networking (MERKURNET)
- Drive the implementation of innovative network structures
- Develop modern access control systems to ensure reliable and efficient security management
- Create user-friendly graphical user interfaces
- Work closely with the team to design and plan new product requirements
- Ongoing maintenance and further development of existing server and web applications
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Very good knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA)
- Experience with REST APIs, unit testing, JPA and JDBC
- Confident handling of Tomcat web server, Maven and SVN
- Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of networking and CI/CD processes (Jenkins)
- Good command of English
- Desirable: experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js)
