About the role
- Internship at MERKUR GROUP supporting IT project management and application development. Involves cooperation in various teams, optimizing processes, and developing SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- In our Business Solutions & Applications division you'll support various teams.
- IT project management: We will provide you with the tools and techniques for the different IT project management methods.
- In addition to implementing new IT system solutions, tasks also include optimizing existing processes.
- SAP Applications: Teams support common SAP modules, advise users, and develop and implement new SAP solutions in national and international projects.
- Enterprise Applications: In addition to supporting and advising users of standard software, teams develop custom standalone solutions, for example based on Java.
- A large portion of MERKUR GROUP’s websites are managed and delivered from this area.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Management, Data Science, Applied Computer Science, or Business Administration.
- Enrollment must be maintained for the entire duration of the internship or working-student assignment.
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Interest in IT topics, result-oriented working style, and a quick grasp of new concepts.
- Technical understanding, the ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills.
